■ Inner Structure
■ Product Principle
The GCBS series converts motor rotation into linear motion through a system of motor, coupling, and belt, combined with an integrated embedded guide rail structure for linear guidance, enabling the motor to drive the belt for smooth linear movement.
■ Product Advantages
1. Consistent Quality with Advanced Engineering
TPA’s integrated built-in ball nuts are available in both external- and internal-recirculation configurations. These two recirculation designs overcome manufacturing limitations while maintaining smooth slide movement and consistent positioning. Improved consistency of the ball nut’s pitch diameter also helps significantly reduce the operating noise associated with conventional external-recirculation designs.
2. Internal Thread Bent-Rod Grinding Technology
The ball nuts used throughout the series are ground using an advanced bent-rod machining process. This technology delivers precise dual-arc raceway geometry and a highly polished surface finish, allowing the ball screw assembly to achieve smoother motion and lower operating noise while meeting the specified dual-arc profile and surface-finish requirements.
3. Simplified Lubrication
Lubrication can be performed directly through the grease fittings located on both sides of the slide. No cover removal is required, making routine maintenance quick and straightforward.
4. Flexible and Consistent Motor Connections
A new connection configuration has been developed to accommodate different motor arrangements. The same adapter plate can be used for three different mounting directions, providing greater flexibility when configuring the module for specific equipment requirements.
The G Series is available in two configurations: ball screw drive and belt drive. The GCBS is an aluminum-base belt-driven linear module with dual-slider synchronous(two sliders moving in opposite synchronized directions). The G Series is engineered with a unique embedded rail design. Through the integrated grinding and forming of steel bars and an aluminum base, the internal architecture is refined, yielding a more compact footprint and an overall weight savings of roughly 25%. The slide base, cast from high-hardenability steel via a monobloc casting process, delivers high rigidity and excellent dimensional stability. Its integrated guide structure balances high accuracy with reduced mass, shaving an additional 5% off the weight. The fully enclosed housing enables deployment in clean-rooms and other demanding environments. Flatness and straightness are held to ±0.02/300mm, ensuring superior motion precision. The compact form factor simplifies system integration, supports top‑ and bottom‑locking configurations, and allows maintenance without cover disassembly. Complementary processes—curved bar grinding and automated dispensing—contribute to smoother, quieter operation, while the three‑way adapter plate adds flexibility for mounting a variety of motors.
