■ Inner Structure
■ Product Principle
The GCRS series converts ball screw rotary motion into linear motion through a combined system of motor, coupling, and ball screw, together with an integrated embedded guide rail structure for precise linear guidance.
■ Product Advantages
1. Integrated Guideway Design
The aluminum base incorporates steel strips that are ground to form the guideway raceways. By eliminating the conventional ball guideway structure, the module achieves a more compact design in both width and height, while reducing its overall weight by approximately 25% compared with aluminum-base modules of similar specifications.
2. Upgraded Ball Screw Specification
The ball screw is upgraded to a larger specification without increasing the overall module size. The slide is manufactured as an integral cast-steel structure. Based on the characteristics of the module, a dedicated 12 mm OD ball nut was developed specifically for the 40-size model, enabling a lead of up to 20 mm. This increases the vertical load capacity by approximately 50% and enables speeds of up to 1 m/s, significantly outperforming the overall performance of conventional 40-series modules using 10 mm OD ball nuts.
3. Integrated Slide Design
The ball nut and ball slide are integrated directly into the slide assembly, improving consistency and positioning accuracy while eliminating a separate round ball nut and reducing overall weight by approximately 5%. Conventional designs typically install a separate cylindrical ball nut into the slide. Relying on a single cylindrical pin for retention may limit the ability to withstand high loads in vertical and side-mounted orientations, potentially compromising structural safety.
4. More Compact Dimensions
The module is narrower while maintaining the same load capacity, reducing the installation space required by the customer's equipment and allowing for more compact machine layouts.
The G Series is available in two configurations: ball screw drive and belt drive. The GCRS is an aluminum-base ball screw linear module with dual-slider synchronous(two sliders moving in opposite synchronized directions). It features an integrated guideway design, in which steel strips are embedded into the aluminum base and ground as a single assembly. This compact construction reduces the overall weight by approximately 25%. The slide is manufactured from high-hardenability steel using an integral casting process, providing high rigidity and excellent resistance to deformation. The integrated guideway structure further improves motion accuracy while reducing weight by approximately 5%. The module adopts a fully enclosed design, making it suitable for clean-room applications, with flatness and straightness of up to ±0.02/300 mm. Its compact body simplifies installation and supports both top and bottom mounting. Routine lubrication and maintenance can be performed without removing the top cover.Precision bent-rod grinding and automated adhesive dispensing processes ensure smooth, low-noise operation. A three-way adjustable adapter plate is also provided for flexible compatibility with a wide range of motors.
