■ Inner Structure
■ Product Principle
A rotary motor consists of a rotor and stator. The rotor is the load itself or directly connected to the load, and is equipped with permanent magnets. The stator is fixed to the base and contains multiple coils. Based on the electromagnetic principle, energizing the coils generates a rotating magnetic field, which directly drives the permanent magnet rotor to rotate. The rotor speed is determined by the frequency of the applied current, while its position is controlled by the phase of the current.
■ Product Advantages
1. Zero-backlash and High Rigidity
The direct-drive configuration eliminates backlash, mechanical compliance, and wear associated with conventional transmission components. The result is high system rigidity and rapid dynamic response, with settling times of approximately 10 ms, significantly enhancing dynamic performance compared with conventional servo systems.
2. High-precision Absolute Feedback
Equipped with a high-resolution absolute encoder, the motor achieves repeatability of better than ±3 arcsec. Its ready-to-install design allows installation and commissioning to be completed in as little as 30 minutes, significantly shortening equipment integration time.
3. Excellent Torque Performance
Continuous torque ranges from several tens to more than 100 N·m, while peak torque can reach several times the rated torque. With a maximum speed of 500 rpm, the motor is well suited to medium- to high-torque, medium-speed applications.
4. Low Noise and High Reliability
Operating noise can be reduced by up to 20 dB compared with conventional mechanical transmission systems. With no friction-prone transmission components and no routine maintenance requirements, the direct-drive design simplifies mechanical assembly while improving overall equipment stability and production efficiency.
With an outer diameter ranging from 200 to 300 mm, this series achieves an effective balance between compact dimensions and high torque output. The direct-drive configuration connects the load directly to the motor rotor, eliminating transmission components such as gearboxes, synchronous belts, and rack-and-pinion mechanisms. This removes backlash, mechanical compliance, and transmission wear, resulting in high system rigidity and rapid dynamic response. A large-diameter, short-length configuration combined with a multi-pole electromagnetic design delivers high torque density within a compact footprint. A high-resolution absolute encoder provides repeatability of better than ±3 arcsec. The ready-to-install design allows installation and commissioning to be completed in as little as 30 minutes, helping shorten equipment integration time. The series is suitable for precision rotary applications including CNC machine tool rotary axes, printing machinery, packaging equipment, laser processing systems, and robotic joints.
