■ Product Principle
The H Series is a compact linear motion module that integrates a servo motor with a ball screw (or belt / rack & pinion), and linear guide system. It converts motor rotary motion into linear motion through the transmission system, enabling high precision, high speed, and high load linear movement.
■ Product Advantages
1. Fast Acceleration and Deceleration Response
The low inertia of the belt drive, combined with a compact servo motor, enables rapid acceleration and deceleration. Its dynamic response is particularly well suited to frequent point-to-point transfer and high-speed pick-and-place operations, helping increase equipment throughput while reducing drive-system sizing requirements and associated costs. This makes the HNB Series an effective motion solution for high-speed automated production lines.
2. Long Service Life for Light Loads
The synchronous belt and timing pulley engage through smooth tooth meshing, distributing contact stress evenly and avoiding the localized pitting associated with recirculating ball mechanisms. Under rated light-load conditions, the system is designed to provide a service life of tens of thousands of kilometers of linear travel while maintaining positioning accuracy and repeatability over extended operation.
3. Cost-effective Solution
As a Japanese-standard belt-driven linear module, the HNB Series uses mature, locally sourced components for key parts, helping control manufacturing costs. It also eliminates the need for additional components such as pneumatic counterbalance systems or magnetic compensation mechanisms, providing a cost-effective linear motion solution for general-purpose automation.
4. High Installation Interchangeability
The HNB Series shares the same mounting hole pattern as the HNR screw-driven linear module, allowing belt-driven and ball screw-driven configurations to be interchanged with minimal modification. This feature provides greater flexibility during equipment development and iteration. During the design stage, the two drive methods can be evaluated efficiently based on their respective performance characteristics, while production equipment can be switched between them according to load and speed requirements.
The H Series is available in three configurations: ball screw drive、belt drive and rack & pinion drive, and offers tow types of protective covers. The HNB is a semi-enclosed belt driven linear module, featuring a distinctive semi-enclosed structure and two high-strength rigid guideways for increased torque and speed performance. The base is manufactured as a one-piece extruded aluminum profile, with a synchronous belt drive that supports both AC servo motors and DC stepper motors. Its semi-enclosed dust protection design is well suited to general factory environments. The HNB Series offers up to 200 combinations of width and length specifications, with a maximum speed of 6000 mm/s, a maximum horizontal load of 140 kg, and effective strokes ranging from 100 to 3050 mm. Repeatability is up to ±0.04 mm. The series combines long stroke, high speed, high load capacity, low noise, and cost-effective performance, making it suitable for high-speed automation equipment such as packaging, conveying, transfer, and palletizing systems. With its speed advantages and flexible configuration options, the HNB Series provides a reliable linear motion solution for a wide range of high-speed automation applications.
