■ Inner Structure
■ Product Principle
The E series is a modular product that integrates a servo motor with a ball screw, converting rotary motion into linear motion. It enables precise control of torque, speed, position, and thrust, providing high-precision linear motion and representing a new generation of automation drive solutions.
■ Product Advantages
1. High Thrust Density
With the same output thrust in the range of several thousand newtons, the electric cylinder requires only one-third to one-half the space of a conventional medium-pressure hydraulic cylinder, making it well suited to compact equipment layouts. Its fully enclosed mechanical transmission eliminates common issues associated with hydraulic systems, such as seal aging, oil leakage, and viscosity changes caused by rising oil temperature. This not only keeps the equipment free from oil contamination, but also significantly reduces the risk of production downtime and environmental compliance issues caused by leakage.
2. 90%+ Transmission Efficiency
Precision ball screw assemblies, or planetary roller screws, use rolling contact to minimize friction, maintaining transmission efficiency above 90% and outperforming conventional hydraulic and pneumatic systems. In continuous, high-frequency operation, this can reduce annual electricity costs by several thousand to tens of thousands of yuan. The higher transmission efficiency also generates less heat during operation, reducing the need for additional cooling components and improving the overall energy efficiency of the equipment.
3. Rigid Coupling Structure
The motor is connected directly to the cylinder body or through a rigid folded configuration, with no elastic deformation in the transmission path for highly rigid position control.
The motor and cylinder body are joined through a direct or folded rigid connection, eliminating flexible transmission elements such as belts and chains. This minimizes transmission backlash and elastic deformation, giving the electric cylinder a high level of mechanical stiffness. As a result, the system can achieve a wider frequency response bandwidth, allowing the actual motion to closely follow the commanded position. Whether handling sudden external loads or maintaining positioning accuracy during high-speed reversing, the rigid connection helps keep position deviation within the micrometer range. This makes the electric cylinder particularly suitable for demanding applications such as dispensing, welding, and riveting, where high positional rigidity and repeatability are essential.
4. Multiple Mounting Options
To accommodate different equipment layouts and load directions, three standard mounting interfaces are available: front flange, rear trunnion, and foot mounting. Non-standard connection options, including rear articulation, front ball joint, and T-slot configurations, can also be customized to meet specific requirements. Whether developing new equipment or upgrading an existing production line, users can select a mounting solution that best fits the mechanical layout, helping shorten equipment integration time and reduce the cost of custom machining.
The E Series is a modular product integrating a servo motor and ball screw, offering three load-based configurations. The EMR is designed for medium-load applications, with a thrust capacity of less than 5 tons. It serve as precision actuators that combine strong performance with tight positioning accuracy—repeatability holds at ±0.01mm. They also deliver low inertia, quiet operation, fast dynamic response, and an extended industrial service life. Add a pressure sensor into the setup, and force accuracy improves to within 1%. Compared with pneumatics or hydraulics, these units cut out the complicated air or oil plumbing. Because they run purely on electric power, multi-axis synchronized motion and flexible programmable control come naturally. Mounting options are versatile, accessory choices are plentiful, and integration with PLCs and standard industrial bus systems is straightforward. On the reliability side, they eliminate the inherent risks of oil or air leaks while running with noticeably better energy efficiency. An IP66 rating means they stand up well to dust, moisture, and other tough operating conditions. Day‑to‑day maintenance mostly comes down to periodic lubrication, which significantly trims total lifecycle costs. Today you’ll find them widely used in robotic joints, automotive production lines, electronics assembly, general mechanical automation, and AGV logistics. They’re increasingly a core driver in moving modern manufacturing toward smarter, more precision-oriented operations.
